I passed!

Yea, i passed Exam C from the Society of Actuary and now i am one step closer to my designation.

In our company, we will have Passers' Night party to celebrate for those who wrote and passed exams. Thus the name, Passers' Night. It is expected for those who pass to contribute a little amount of money into making the party (coz passers will get bonus and salary increase). Thats also is one of the incentives to pass an exam.

So this time, we decided to have a Rock Band party, and dress code was rock star!!!

Not a big fan of rock, i was still able to pull out a prety neat costume, and was Slash. Lots of fun, food, booze and ROCK BAND! Whats really cool about the party is that, most of us dress up and even the Principals and Consultants were dressing up too. Some were KISS, Elton John, some punk chicks....

i am back!

wow, it has been awhile. Yes, i am back!!! So much has happened for the past few weeks yet everything seems like yesterday.

The reason i wasn't updating my blog is because my stupid Toshiba laptop went dead on me 3 weeks ago. I came home from work on a Friday nite and it was dead. Completely. Took it to a computer store for repair and, 3 weeks went by.

This year's Chinese New Year is a little more meaningful to me compared to the previous ones i had. Invited my closests friends from school over for a Malaysian/Chinese dinner. I didnt really have the time to make alot of dishes, but was still able to cook a few, like mix vege, chicken with curry flour, sambal seafood, sring rolls (from Catherine)...

My best friends Flo, Cat and me decided to have our first snowboard trip of year 2008 last weekend at COP. It was a super nice day, sunny and warm (around 1C)!

Took lots of pic up on the hill, catched up on things with each other, gossiping... just like the old days.

Feeling good these days.
Maybe coz i really like living upstairs.
More lights, more space, such a homey feeling.
And roomate is great.

I am moving upstairs from basement today.

As i was packing and cleaning out my stuff from the closet, I saw a friggin' dead mouse!!!

GROSS!

I always thought there will be no mice coming into my room, even when the house was invaded by mice when seasons changed. I know there were some upstairs and some in our storage room in the basement. Never had i ever have the idea of mice coming into my room!!!

Friggin' mouse ! I hate you.

Finally.... Boxing Sale is here

Boxing Day is on December 26, a day after Christmas.

Whats so exciting about Boxing Day is that malls will open at 8 in the morning, and they will be packed in an instant. why? coz sales are everywhere, 50%, 60%...etc

So, i was up at 7 and decided to go to the mall by taking train.

The mall was already kinda packed at around 8.15, when i got there.

So i started shopping.... buying stuff, here and there.

I got myself 3 sweaters, a pair of leather shoes and some socks. Didnt really buy lots, wasnt in the "mod". Guess i was tired.







I still need to get a pair of jeans, casual shoes... maybe more sweaters for work.

Oh, and maybe a duvet =)

Christmas 07

Christmas has just passed. Very glad Masis invited me over to his place on Christmas's eve, had a Pajamas party of our own. We watched Forrest Gump with a few glasses of Soho. Played Tekkan and i kicked his ass big time. hahaa... suang!

On Christmas day, Floria invited me over to her house dinner party. Lots of good food and tons of fun times =) Thanks Flo.
